Project
Prefecture 48

Japan has 47 ‘Prefectures’…this project in Sussex Street, Sydney is named ‘Prefecture 48’ and comprises two parts separated by a courtyard. The building originally was a warehouse and the restored 3 storey front section now offers a range of Japanese dining ranging from ‘street food’ to ultra fine dining. The rear 2 storey section is a haven for whiskey lovers where one can taste the delights of a $40,000 bottle of whiskey in bespoke, luxury surroundings. This is a very ‘top end’ establishment and Buildcorp have been able to re-imagine it in a manner to suit the most discerning international clientele.
